There's a setting in Hierarchy: Show all child issuesIf disabled, only child issues that match the filter criteria will be displayed. This toggle doesn't work. It looks like it's been broken in a recent update. It's not possible to workaround this...
If user adds custom fields like Start / End Date at Initative or Epic, you could probably take that data to show how it is progressing in a timeline Gantt view and show a progress bar against those dates (progress already being tracked).

Add the ability to change due date, parant item, original estimate and more directly from the main table without the need to open the issue's detailed view. Saves time when updating multiple tickets.

Ability to display duplicate issues linked to multiple issues in the hierarchy tree
As a user I want to have the option to switch between showing or hiding duplicate issues So that I can better visualize the linking relationship between my Jira issues.
