If user adds custom fields like Start / End Date at Initative or Epic, you could probably take that data to show how it is progressing in a timeline Gantt view and show a progress bar against those dates (progress already being tracked).
Ability to edit fields directly from the table view
Add the ability to change due date, parant item, original estimate and more directly from the main table without the need to open the issue's detailed view. Saves time when updating multiple tickets.
Ability to select multiple link types to be displayed on the tree view
As a user, I want to customise the link types as part of the hierarchy (along with parent-child relationship) so that I can visualise both parent-child and dependencies between issues in one hierarchical structure.
As a user, I want to enable dark mode (or a dark theme) by switching it as a setting so that it’s easier on the eyes, especially in dark environments. *Suggestion by: Mike Wainwright
Ability to display duplicate issues linked to multiple issues in the hierarchy tree
As a user I want to have the option to switch between showing or hiding duplicate issues So that I can better visualize the linking relationship between my Jira issues.
Use different issue link types to link different levels of the hierarchy
**As a** user **I want to** be able to specify a different issue link type for each level of my issue hierarchy. For example, to link level 1 and 2 I want to use the “Parent-Child” issue link but to link level 2 and 3 I want to use the “Hierarchy”...
As a user I want to edit the field value directly from the table, so that I can make changes to the issue details without having to open up the view modal.
We are running periodic reports, for example, planned vs. actual for Q2. To do this, we want to know the time spent for each epic only between two given dates (and not for the entire time spent on the epic).
